journey of a wahm
Don't stand in someone else's shadow when it's your sunlight that should lead the way.
September Already?
This year seems to be flying by. And so did this week! I usually post a few separate posts all at once, so for a change, I'm doing one super long one, lol!

So JTC stuff first~Not sure when I may stock again, I have a few projects under way, or at least in my head. So previews for instock~I have this skirt, love this heart pattern, a bit time consuming, but worth the end result! The satchel-styled bag is Grateful dead inspired..obviously (though not as inspiring as their music!) Want to snag one of these for your own before I stock? Drop me an email! ;)

SO, on to around here, made myself a skirt, really love the heaviness of it on. And another pair of custom patchwork pants..on the new owner!

If you noticed under my skirt a bit of cute white peeking out, those are my new bloomers! I want to give a huge shoutout & rave to my sista Libby, the sweet mama  behind  Aurora's Garden on Etsy.  We did a trade and she custom made these just for me! I even got a sampling of her scrumptious soap. I can't explain how very hard it is for me to find clothing I like AND fit. And these are so sweet, I really think I could pass them off as pants! Either way, I'll be warm this winter & still be wearing my skirts. Thank you Libby!

As for family news, nothing to say really. Oh, our window is "fixed", with Plexiglas, it's temporary. Kayden is becoming a real pro at his ABCs. Here's a couple pics of Kayden & the puppy. I'm thinking we may keep her since he really seems to like the pup. We named her "RUCA".
