I am thankful to be ALIVE and for my family. It may be small, but they are the best. I'm thankful we have a roof over our heads, I've been homeless and struggling, and remember how it was, and think about the people and families out there at this very moment, struggling in that same situation. Because it can be so hard to get back up when you are already so far down. I'm thankful we have food, cause there are so many out there going hungry everyday. In fact we will have a lot today that will be shared with our friends & family. I'm glad that my family and myself are fairly healthy, when there are people out there dying and sick, unable to afford or get help. I am thankful that I have friends, family, people that do care, even though there are not that many, they make my life complete. I am thankful that I live here in the USA, that I have my freedoms, especially as a woman. I cannot begin to imagine how life is for other women in countries where their considered worth is no more than produce or livestock is, sometimes less. I am thankful for my talents, I will continue to learn as much as I can, and teach along the way to anybody who wants to listen or watch. There are many things I am thankful for, mostly just being alive, to be able to continue this great big experience called life. I love the simple things in life, and I do wish people would take the time to appreciate the things they do have, rather than complain about the lack of things they do not have. We all wish for better, but most don't even take to time to see the blessing all around them.
